When deciding on which coffee shops to choose for #SaturdayStroll, I usually begin with the Eater pages if available, or any top list for coffee shops. Not to say that this is the basis for what makes a good place to get coffee, but it is a guideline I use for where to start, especially in other cities where I do not have the time to drive aimlessly and I am on a schedule. You have said this before
I found Fleet Coffee, from Austin, Texas, on the Eater Austin page for top coffee shops in the city and decided to go! To be honest, it is a petite coffee shop, so if I had not done my research prior to traveling to Austin, it’s possible I would never have come across Fleet.
Obviously, for small coffee shops such as this one, you are limited on seating space. Luckily, it was raining the day I went, so it wasn’t packed and I was able to grab a spot. I tend to find, however, that if a coffee shop is small, they make up for it with great drinks.
I had the Sunday Morning Ritual. This is a Cinnamon Toast Crunch-infused milk, espresso, and served with a cereal/marshmallow treat. If it sounds amazing, imagine having it. I think It definitely lives up to the hype.
If you are looking for a great coffee shop to grab an amazing drink, and you either live in Austin, Texas or are in the city for a bit, I would definitely stop by Fleet.
